The business of college football is booming, and it's no surprise that the sport's premier conference, the SEC, is garnering immense hype as it expands to 16 teams in 2024. We poured through ticket information on VividSeats to determine the highest-priced SEC football games this fall, looking at both conference and non-conference opponents.
The stadiums and the dates of each game factor into current prices, but this list gives us good insight into the most sought-after tickets this fall. Texas and Georgia are the hottest SEC commodities entering 2024, with four features on this list, including their highly-anticipated showdown in Austin on Oct. 19.
To determine the most expensive SEC games for the 2024 college football season, we used the cheapest lower-level, mid-field ticket behind the home sideline. For neutral-field games, we picked the cheapest lower-level, mid-field ticket regardless of sideline. Box, club, and VIP seats were not taken into consideration.

Here are the top 10 most expensive SEC football tickets for the 2024 college football season:
10. Texas at Michigan
Ticket Price: $954
The nation's longest winning streak is on the line as Texas travels north to Ann Arbor in Week 2. The winner of this one will have quite the résumé bonus when the selection committee meets one final time in December. It's Michigan's most expensive home game this season, beating out USC and Oregon by a hefty margin. The cheapest overall ticket still runs $436. You can catch a better deal ($236) when the Wolverines travel to Ohio State for the regular-season finale.
9. Florida vs. Georgia (Jacksonville)
Ticket Price: $1,062
Florida went 5-7 and suffered a 23-point loss to Georgia last season, but it's done little to diminish the hype around one of the SEC's oldest rivalry games in 2024. The game is held at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, which factors into the high ticket prices. However, the Dawgs drive ticket prices wherever they go. The cheapest midfield ticket in the lower level on the Florida side runs $1,062. The same ticket on the Georgia sideline goes for $1,357.
8. Notre Dame at Texas A&M
Ticket Price: $1,066
Notre Dame at Texas A&M is among the many highlights of a loaded Week 1 slate. It's the first matchup between the two programs since 2001 and just the sixth overall. The Fighting Irish checked in at No. 10 in our post-spring top 25 while the Aggies landed at No. 19. The matchup also marks the first game for head coach Mike Elko at Texas A&M. He spent a season as Notre Dame's defensive coordinator in 2017.
7. LSU vs. USC (Vegas Kickoff Classic)
Ticket Price: $1,088
It's Las Vegas, and this game promises fireworks. LSU ranked No. 1 in total offense last season and USC ranked No. 3 behind Heisman Trophy winners under center. Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams are gone, but neither team wants to take a step back in 2024. We tabbed LSU as the 10th-most explosive offense this fall, while USC will always have one of the nation's top units as long as Lincoln Riley is at the helm. This is just the third all-time meeting between the two historic programs and the first since 1984.
6. Georgia at Alabama
Ticket Price: $1,136
Tickets at Bryant-Denny are more affordable than other trips to SEC elite in 2024, but fans can still expect to shell out the big bucks when Georgia arrives in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 28. Nick Saban's retirement has done little to diminish the hype around this matchup. Both teams are coming off a bye week and we may even get the rarity of the Crimson Tide being a home underdog in September.
5. Alabama at Tennessee
Ticket Price: $1,232
Tennessee pulled off a historic win over Alabama the last time the Crimson Tide traveled to Neyland Stadium, and Volunteers fans don't want to miss out on a potential repeat in 2024. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava promises to breathe new life into Tennessee after a disappointing 9-4 campaign under Joe Milton in 2023, and he'll have an opportunity to establish himself as a Tennessee legend on Oct. 19. Tickets in the same row are $300 cheaper when Florida comes to town the week before.
4. Texas vs. Oklahoma (Red River Rivalry)
Ticket Price: $1,385
The Red River Rivalry is always a hot commodity, but tickets are nearing a record level in 2024 as both programs enter the season with College Football Playoff aspirations. The highest-priced stubs are behind the Longhorns bench, with the cheapest ticket running at $1,385. Sooners fans fare a little better at $879 on the flip side of the field. Fans who just want to be at the game for the 120th installment of the historic rivalry will have to shell out at least $377 for a spot in the nosebleeds.
3. Georgia vs. Clemson (Aflac Kickoff Game)
Ticket Price: $1,434
We ranked the season-opening matchup between Georgia and Clemson as the top ACC non-conference game in 2024, but it means a whole lot for the Bulldogs and the SEC, too. Clemson isn't projected to be a bonafide College Football Playoff contender as it was in past years, but don't tell fans. The cheapest midfield ticket in the lower level at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta runs $1,434. Fans can grab a nosebleed ticket at a more affordable rate ($229).
2. Texas at Texas A&M
Ticket Price: $1,588
A rivalry renews in 2024 when Texas and Texas A&M meet for the first time since 2011 in the regular-season finale at Kyle Field. The cheapest single ticket in the Aggies Prime West Field box (FB7) runs $5,884, but fans can watch from the opposing sideline at the discounted rate of $1,588. The cheapest ticket in the entire game runs $576, and that's in the upper bench section at the corner of the south end zone.

Ticket Price: $2,176
The Texas brand is as strong as it has been in years, thanks to a College Football Playoff berth in 2023. Being a part of its inaugural SEC season will cost you an arm and a leg. Georgia's trip to Austin on Oct. 19 pairs the conference newcomer against the league's old guard and marks the most expensive game for any SEC team this fall. The game pits two of the nation's best quarterbacks against elite defensive units and promises to carry major SEC championship and College Football Playoff implications with it.
