Obituary: Mr. Tom D. Coats, 58, passed away on 10, 2016 in Nacogdoches, Texas.

He was born in Nacogdoches on 14, 1957 to parents Durane Buck and Nina Coats.

A funeral service is scheduled on , 14, 2016 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors Sunset Chapel. Rev. Dick Tubbe will be officiating. Burial will follow at Alazan .

Pallbearers include Bo Scott, Steve Muirhead, Bodie Colwell, Ben Ballard, Michael Hearne and Johnny Christian.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Alton Hutchison, Mike Phillips, Farris Hunter, Juston Bass, Greg Briley and Derek Low.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors.

He is preceded in death by his Father.

Tom is survived by his mother, Nina Coats; wife Sherry Belue; sons, John Coats and Michael Belue and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Bindie Coats, Samantha Belue, Allison Belue, Casey Belue; brothers Samuel Coats and wife Rena, Buddy Coats and wife Teresa, Jeff Coats and wife Gail, Steve Coats and wife Maria and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a graduate of Nacogdoches High School, Class of 1976. He was a good man, good provider for his family, had excellent work ethic and a generous spirit. He loved his boys and taught them well. He had strong Christian values that he not only believed in, but conducted himself in a way that backed up his beliefs daily. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, family, friends and looking for Indian Arrowheads. He married Sherry Belue on 24, 1986. He worked for NIBCO as an assembly machine shop clerk for over 39 ½ years. We will miss you Tom.

Obituary: Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth Vardeman Coats passed away , 11, 2016, in Nacogdoches at the age of 92. She was born 29, 1923, in Nacogdoches to parents George and Ona Vardeman.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. , 14, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors Sunset Chapel. Freddie Byrd will be conducting the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Lynn Henson, Elvin Ray Henson, Ronnie Craig Coats, Dennis Sonny Matlock, Don Vardeman, and Freddie Moore. Honorary pallbearers include Jeffery Nicholas Beal, Andy Carroll Coats, Michael Ray Henson, Matthew Byers, Carl Wheeland, Timothy John Hart, and Henry McFaddin.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll W. Coats; and brothers, Barney Dalton Vardeman and George Wayne Vardeman. She is surved by a sister-in-law, Lamerle Vardeman.

She is also survived by her son, Ronnie Joe Coats and wife Eula; daughters, Carol Coats-Beal and fiancé, William Edsel West, and Vicki Coats ; grandchildren, Ronnie Craig Coats and wife Nerrisa, Christie Boykin and husband Brian, Andy Carroll Coats and wife Stefanie, Jeffery Nicholas Beal and wife Kelcie, Christopher Lynn Henson, Michael Ray Henson, and Brandi Henson-Byers and fiancé, William Greer Hightower; great-grandchildren, Karli Coats, Kati Coats, Branden Boykin, Avery Boykin, Austin Coats, Aiden Coats, Brandon Asher-Henson, Christa Henson, Madeline Elizabeth Byers, and Landon Matthew Byers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Pauline was a very friendly person who always greeted you with a smile and grace. She was always working on something and keeping busy. She had such tiny hands to get done all the work she did. She was a proud mother and a meticulous seamstress. Pauline always wore blue jeans and sweatshirts and looked good in it. She was known as a character and was always up to something. She loved to be a people watcher and could always find something that would make her heart laugh. She thought older people were funny and rarely admitted that she was one of them! Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Thanksgiving and her favorite foods were fried catfish, cherry co*kes from Sonic and homemade yeast rolls. She was proud to be a housewife. That was her chosen profession and she was good at it. She made great deposits in her familys life and they will be remembering her for a very long time.
