I say this every time about stir frying, but it really is important.

Fresh minced garlic and ginger are what will take your recipe to the next level!

If you have never bought fresh ginger in the store, just look for it in the produce section of your grocery store.

It comes in long knobs which look like roots.

To prepare your fresh ginger, just cut off the peeling with a knife, then slice and dice until the ginger is in very small minced pieces.

You do not want any big chunks of ginger in your sauce.

Cook the broccoli for around 8 – 10 minutes, stirring often, until the desired texture.

I prefer to leave a little texture to my broccoli so that it is not completely soft, so right around 8 minutes was just perfect.

You just want to make sure that the ginger and garlic have time to cook also.

This recipe is delicious as is, but easily customized!

We served ours over rice and added in tofu to make it a full meal.

Cauliflower rice would also be a delicious base to serve it on!

Try adding your favorite protein and doubling the sauce to make it a main dish instead of a side.

For a spicier dish, add some red pepper flakes on top!
